Description

Within Te Korowai Trust’s holistic approach we offer; building financial capability, Maara kai programme, social workers, Kairangahau ā-Whānau and Whānau Ora and Mokopuna Ora Navigator assistance. Te Korowai Trust, based in Whakatū (Nelson), provides a registered and experienced social worker to work with whānau that have been identified as having tamariki/children at risk, using a holistic, kaupapa Māori approach to service delivery.

We offer a mobile service which reduces the barrier of accessing help and allows clients to feel comfortable in their own home. We have the ability to travel throughout the Nelson region from Atawhai to Brightwater although clients are welcome to come to us outside of these boundaries.

While our services are targeted at Māori, our motto is `tatou tatou’ which means we are open to and help all people.
