Our mission is to offer support, advocacy, education and intervention to whānau in crisis situations, targeting whānau that have dependent children. By offering the provision of a professional social work service using a Wairua Karu approach, “potential for change and growth’ working together building strength and empowerment for sustainability of safer living in the home and community.

We provide Transitional Accommodation for women and children in Pukekohe.

We run a weekly Koha Shed on Tuesdays, from 10am - 12noon (weather permitting) where donated household items are freely available to those in need. If the Koha Shed is closed, it is notified on our Facebook page. Visitors are invited to contribute a non-perishable item as they are able, that can, in turn, be shared with others in the community. We also provide low cost Skinny Jump modems

We have a team of social workers able to work with you and your whānau free of charge. They can support you with matters like securing full and correct entitlements from WINZ, being your advocate as you work with OT or perhaps through Family Court processes relating to parenting, supporting you through the end of a relationship or as you seek to improve your parenting skills. We also have an onsite counsellor with a specialty in drug and alcohol addiction and also able to work across a number of other areas. Our social workers adhere to the Social Worker Registration Board Code of Conduct.
