Aratika Cancer Trust

Community Health Service, Cancer Network Group

Aratika Cancer Trust empowers people impacted by a cancer diagnosis through evidence-informed mātauranga (knowledge) illuminating the integrative and holistic nature of living well.

Our focus is on programmes that are complementary to conventional medicine and we welcome people impacted by cancer past or present, to attend.

Our services include:

  • A weekly walking group, run in conjunction with the Cancer Society
  • Library resources
  • Meditation retreats and series (online and in-person)
  • Spring/Autumn 5-day residential wellbeing retreats
  • Creative art therapy programmes (in-person)
  • One to one private counselling
  • Website supporting links and cancer resources

We work closely with other cancer care providers in the area and can help to connect you with other organisations that may further support your needs, living with cancer.

Our Team is made up of Volunteers, Trustees, Facilitators, Counsellors, Programme Director, and our Trust Manager. Our website has detailed information about these people.
