Supported Independent Living
Being independent is a really important part of feeling proud and in charge of the life you lead. Our Supported Independent Living service aims to provide support where people need it most, so that they can learn to live independently.
Maybe you are a great cook, but have trouble looking after money and paying bills. No problem, our Support Workers will encourage your strengths and identify areas where you need a little help. You will be supported to learn new skills that will help you navigate everyday life and achieve your goals.
The Supported Living Service is designed to:
- Enable disabled people to live in their own homes
- Develop relevant skills
- Develop and access community resources
- Actively participate in their community
- Define and achieve their goals
- Experience autonomy on an equal basis to others
