Description
Dove Hospice provides supportive holistic care and palliative care in our community for those living with life-threatening illness.
Our point of difference from other hospices is that we offer our services for patients from the time of diagnosis for those who may be expecting cure or remission and those who require palliative care.
Our service is designed to support and enhance any conventional treatments patients may be receiving while aiming to promote emotional and spiritual wellbeing with a strong focus on holistic wellness.
People who are living with serious, life-threatening illness can access our services. They may be in treatment, expecting remission or recovery, or their medical treatment may now be limited and they require additional support.
We also offer support for family members and carers and the bereaved.

Fees and Charges Description
Dove Hospice services are available at no cost to the recipient. However, they are not 'free'. Our community support us by donating goods to our shops and volunteering thousands of hours both in our retail and service settings to raise the funds necessary to provide the service.
We receive no direct government funding and rely totally on the generosity of our donors, supporters and general community.
If you feel you are in a position to assist we are grateful for all donations and gifts of time. There are a number of ways you can do this.
You can become a 'regular giver', a one-off donor, donate product to our second hand retail business Dove Shops, volunteer some time to our organisation, support our Celebration Wall, peer to peer fundraising or other fundraising initiatives, leave a bequest or donate in lieu of flowers.

Dove House is an out-patient facility operating during week days.
We have a 24hour, 7 day a week care facility Dove Wing which operates out of St Andrews Village, Glendowie .

This unit is specifically for palliative patients, both for respite and end-of-life care. Please contact Dove House, open between Monday and Friday business hours - one of our nurses will be able to provide more information, a 'look through' and talk to you about what you or your loved one is needing, now or in the foreseeable future. Our experienced team are here to help you through this challenging time and you will find their knowledge and compassion very beneficial in helping you with any decisions you are facing.

There are also a number of support groups, workshops and therapeutic activities that can be of benefit to assist in promoting your sense of wellbeing.
