Hospice Kaipara serves the Kaipara District. It covers from the Waipoua Forest to Maungaturoto, the Dargaville Township and its surrounds, which includes from Pouto to Tangiteroria.
Hospice Kaipara provides home based support, free of charge, catering to the needs of patients and their family/whānau that need specialist care to help manage their life limiting illness. We work with other health providers (e.g. Doctors, District Health Board staff, Iwi providers, pharmacists), and services include:
- Clinical Care
- Specialist loan equipment
- Counselling/Bereavement Support
- Volunteers
- Complimentary therapy
- Library with useful books and resources
