Whare Oranga Free Clinical & Non Clinical Services
The Whare Oranga programme delivers a full suite of Clinical and Non clinical services.
Huakina offer three rural marae based clinics that provide whānau and the community with an environment and services that are reliable, accessible and safe as well as being a part of improving the overall quality of whānau and community lives and wellbeing.
Whare Oranga Service provides:
- GP/Dr
- Nursing
- Podiatry
- Te Puna Waiora - Māori Mental Health
- Hearing Assessments
- Retinal Eye Screening
- Self Management Programme
- Smoking Cessation
- Driver Licencing courses
Whare Oranga are situated on three rural marae within the Counties and Waikato region:
- Pukekohe - Nga Hau e Wha Marae (88 Beattys Rd Pukekohe, Ph: (09) 239 1897)
- Mangatangi - Mangatangi Marae (199 Mangatangi Valley Mangatangi (09) 232 731)
- Port Waikato - Oraeroa Marae (21 Stacks Rd Port Waikato, (09) 232 9800)
