Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines
The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

Everyone 12 years and over in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland can get vaccinated for FREE now.
- You don’t need to book to get vaccinated at community vaccination centres and drive-through centres. Simply walk in or drive up with the whānau in your bubble during the opening hours.

Supervised RATs for priority populations
Priority populations are groups that have experienced adverse impacts or are considered at higher risk of the effects from COVID-19 outbreaks in New Zealand. They include Māori and Pacific communities and those living with disabilities.

We are providing supervised RATs at the vaccination centre at 6 Roulston Street
PLEASE NOTE: The testing site at Pukekohe Racecourse will be closed Easter
Weekend GOOD FRIDAY, EASTER SATURDAY, EASTER SUNDAY EASTER MONDAY.
It will re-open Tuesday.

Huakina aims to provide support in health & wellbeing, education and environmental issues to those in the Franklin, Manukau, Papakura and Waikato regions.
Environmental Services – Cultural assessments of Resource Consent applications, advice on Local / Regional Plans, provide advocacy and support.
Iwi Social services - Provide high needs social services.
Whare Oranga (Marae Based Health Clinic) - We offer FREE clinical and non clinical services e.g. GP, nurse, podiatry, smoking cessation, driver licensing seminars, self management programmes, health education and literacy for whaanau e.g. physical activity, nutrition.
Homecare service - We provide a range of services to enable people of all ages to remain in their own home and communities. Personal care and household management & other services at no cost to an individual are through a referral from Taikura Trust or Counties Manukau DHB NASC.
Kaumātua Support Services – Activities and outings for vulnerable Kaumātua.
Timata Hou - Rangatahi information service - the importance of your unique data preparing you for work and life.
Whānau Ora Community Clinic Huakina Development Trust - The Whānau Ora Community Clinic provides support for all members of the community at a very affordable price.
- If you are between 18-65 years it will cost you just $10 to see our doctors
- If you are under 18 or over 65 years a visit to our doctor is FREE.
With a variety of services to choose from, we aim to meet the needs of whānau and community.
