Community Testing Centre
Testing for COVID-19 is currently being done at General Practices and at our testing site in Palmerston North and our POP-UP sites.
If you have severe cold or flu-like symptoms, please call ahead to your GP team.
Alternatively, if you have mild symptoms, you can drop into our permanent testing location at Central Energy Trust Arena, Palmerston North (Drive in Gate 3 or Walk in Gate 2) for a COVID-19 test:
- Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 4pm each day
- Sunday - 10am to 2pm
- Saturdays - CLOSED
It’s a quick, free and easy procedure and we’ll have your results sent to you within 24-48 hours. Getting a swab provides you with peace of mind.
RATs Community Collection Site (Pre-order required)
Rapid antigen tests (RATs) can be ordered and then collected at this site by:
- people with COVID-19 symptoms or who are a household contact
- critical workers who are household contacts
- border workers who are required to be tested under the Required Testing Order.
