It is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Rangatira, Taniwha Dr. Ihakara Porutu Puketapu.
Taniwha Dr Ihakara Puketapu has been an influential figure and an integral part of our organisation for many years. His contribution and leadership has shaped our organisation in numerous ways, his absence will undoubtedly be deeply felt. As a mark of respect and to honour Taniwha Dr Ihakara Puketapu’ s memory, we will be closing Te Rūnanga for a brief period,
