Pāhake Programme (Aged Persons)
The goal of this programme is to provide opportunities for people to age positively, where they are highly valued and recognised as an integral part of whānau and communities. It is open to people between the ages of 55-75. It focuses on three areas: health education, fitness and mobility, and the opportunity to explore and participate in Te Ao Māori. Participants take part in activities, outings and workshops as well as listening to presentations from agencies and organisations.
