Years of practice: Over 10 years.

Philosophy of care: My name is Danielle North and I qualified as a midwife in 2001. I have worked as a self employed midwife since 2004. I have seven children, one born at Middlemore Hospital and the rest born at home. I was inspired to become a midwife after the amazing experience I had with my own midwife while I had my second child. I always aimed to become a self employed midwife as I believe continuity of care is so special and enjoy following my clients all the way through their childbirth journey. 

I specialise in supporting women with elective caesearean sections, both in Anti Natal and Post Natal care.  I also support women birthing at Middlemore hospital in Anti Natal and Post natal care.
