Originally from Santa Cruz, Bernard went to dental school at the University of California, San Francisco. He ran a solo practice near Santa Cruz for 22 years, focusing on comprehensive family care, including cosmetic dentistry. More recently, Bernard has been practicing as the Chief Dental Officer for several dental offices in the Northwest U.S.
