Dr Wasywich specialises in the management of patients with advanced heart failure (including heart transplant and pulmonary hypertension). She has subspecialty expertise in echocardiography and is part of the coronary care/general cardiology team. She trained at Green Lane Hospital before completing fellowships in Heart Failure/Transplantation at Green Lane Hospital and St Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, Canada. She also undertook a 2 year research fellowship in heart failure management at the University of Auckland and was awarded a doctoral degree based on this work in 2010.
