Dr Colin Helm

Colin originally hails from the Highlands of Scotland but he and his family have made New Zealand their home over the past 20 years. Colin completed his original degrees in General Medicine, General Surgery along with a BSc in Immunology at Glasgow University.

‍He has since acquired dual training and qualifications in Primary Care through both the New Zealand and United Kingdom Colleges of General Practice. He has worked as a GP since 1996 and is now focusing on Cosmetic Medicine and Skin Cancer Medicine.

‍He has extended himself, deepening his knowledge in skin cancer care, working at Skinspots skin cancer clinic, providing surgical procedures and skin checks. Completing his Diploma in Dermoscopy with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia in 2016.
