Profile

Dr Foo has special interest in the areas of micro-incisional cataract surgery and treatment of retinal diseases. He was the first person to introduce photodynamic therapy (PDT) to Wellington for the treatment of macular degeneration. He uses the most up-to-date and effective medical and surgical treatments for macular degeneration and other retinal disorders.

He currently works as a consultant ophthalmologist and a senior lecturer at Wellington Hospital and consults privately from The Terrace Eye Centre, Boulcott Clinic (Lower Hutt) and Masterton.
