Dr Soizick Mesnage

Soizick is a general medical oncologist specialising in the care of patients with breast cancer. With a Master of Science (first-class honours), Soizick completed her medical training at the University of Auckland and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2016. She undertook a clinical research fellowship in gynaecological oncology at the Gustave Roussy Institute - an integrated cancer centre of excellence in Paris, France. She also has experience in palliative care and symptom control, having completed a post-graduate clinical diploma in palliative medicine.  

As a medical oncologist at Harbour Cancer & Wellness and Auckland City Hospital, she is committed to providing cancer patients the best possible care, in close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. She carefully considers the individual needs of patients and their families, and practices with compassion and clear communication. Soizick has an interest in research and is currently working with scientists to evaluate the genomic and immune profiles of gynaecological cancers, with the ultimate goal of improving outcomes for women diagnosed with these cancers. This work has been recognised internationally by the American Society of Clinical Oncology with the Conquer Cancer Merit Award (2016).
