Services Provided

Adult and child medical care

A primary care medical practice is far more than a place to go when you are feeling unwell and needing a quick cure. The medical staff are able to help children and adults of all ages with a range of physical and emotional difficulties. Staff are at the centre of the healthcare hub and will be aware of services and expertise that are available locally and further-a-field. They are also aware of the link that stress and unhappy life events have on physical health so know when to suggest a talking therapy rather than medication.

ECG

An ECG is a recording of your heart's electrical activity. Electrode patches are attached to your skin to measure the electrical impulses given off by your heart. The result is a trace that can give information of previous heart attacks or problems with the heart rhythm.

Parking

There is paid public parking around the building.  Patients must download the Parkmate App and enter their details including a payment method.  When patients exit the carpark they must end their session in the Parkmate App or they will continue to be charged after they have left.  There is a 60 minute free parking period on weekdays and and 90 minute free parking period over the weekends but patients must be logged into the App to park.  The App will automatically deduct the 60/90 minute grace period as applicable.

For example, if you park from 9am - 11am on a Tuesday, the system will only charge for 1 hour as the first 60 minutes are free.

The Parkmate Company manages the public parking on behalf of the Landlord and is not contracted by the Lower Hutt After Hours.
