Its been a few times now that going to urgent care has brought no relief to any of my family members, on friday 8 May I went in with revere pelvic/back pain, I was given Ibibrufen/panadol and just before I left 1 Tramadol as my pain was stil 8/10. I was seen by a nurse Practitioner and the refered to Middlemore for a CT scan. I had to pay full price to not even see a fully qualified Dr. I went to Middlemore, they tested bloods, put a IV line in, I was there for just over 5hours and didn't get the CT scan, no pain relief was givin eventhough I presented pain of 7/10. I was sent home with the hope of someone calling me on the 9th or today the 10th May but until now I have not received a call to get the scan. I phoned the urgent care line yesterday to ask if I can get a script for pain relieve as I did not get a script on the friday from the Nurse practitioner, they said that she is not on duty and that the dr's working today will not give my a script without seeing me so if I was not busy dying of pain I will need to pay again or go to Middlemore to get no help from them also. Does money grow on our backs to just pay and pay and pay and get no help?

So slow even though there was not many patients.

Bad place do not ever go to this place rip off take your money and tell u to go to middle more with out doing nothing doctors that got there medical licence in a raffle prize

Came in for my mum to see, long wait time.
Doesnt seems the doctors or receptions are eager to see the patience to come in through.
Would give a negative rating if theres any, but hopeless would best describe it.

What a useless urgent care service that only stays open till 8pm and won't see anyone who does not show up before 5pm. Turning away injured children in pain. Get your dysfunctional government health department to do a better job to retain doctors and nurses!

Open to 8pm … but if you aren’t there by 5pm they won’t see you. Daughter-in-law turned up at 5.15pm with severe abdominal pain, got told they won’t see her, Papakura most likely won’t see her and to go home or go to Middlemore and wait 8 hours. Or take pain meds (which aren't working )and come back in the morning. Disappointing service!!

We visited on Monday at 1pm. We were there two hours and everybody that was before us had been seen, there were no urgent cases so we thought we would be next, but no we had to wait another two hours. Others were seen before us due to triage and I can tell you that 80% of those patients were not more urgent than us.
