Profile

Dr Chris Paltridge was born in New Zealand and has lived in Auckland his whole life. He qualified at Auckland Medical School in 1995 with a post-graduate diploma in Occupational Medicine and has worked in hospitals across Auckland within many medical and surgical disciplines. He also worked with surgical outpatients in a Thai hospital and in Northern Australia for the flying doctor service.

Chris served for 3 years in the New Zealand Army in 1NZSAS as a medical officer. During this time he gained valuable experience and training.

Since 2000 Chris began to specialise in Men's Health as well as work in the Emergency Department of the North Shore Hospital. He also enjoyed a year of volunteer work for North Shore hospice. Chris has undergone ongoing training for first aid and resuscitation methods and worked as a GP on the North Shore and in West Auckland. He has a lot of experience with Sports Medicine and has been a team doctor for his local rugby club (as well as boxing).

Recently Chris has been managing a number of specialist clinics and decided to combine all these services within the Parnell Health Centre. The Parnell Health Centre also has practitioners with a special interest in and management of menopause treatment and care.
