Chris is a GP at Tend Linwood. He began his medical career later in life, driven by a desire to add value to society and find greater fulfilment in his work. He is currently training to become a Rural Hospital Specialist.
 
His clinical interests include acute care and minor procedures, reflecting his hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivering timely care.
 
Chris values the importance of people in healthcare, embracing the Māori saying, “He tangata, he tangata, he tangata” (It is the people, it is the people, it is the people).
 
Outside of work and study, he enjoys staying active through sports such as squash, tennis and golf.
