Profile

Kia ora koutou,

I was born and bred in Ireland, completing my medical degree at Trinity college, Dublin in 2007, before coming to Aotearoa in 2008 to see some of this beautiful country and work at Nelson hospital - I never left! I have lived and worked in various parts of Aotearoa over the last 15 years and I had the privilege of becoming a very proud “Kiwi” in 2017.

I moved from traditional GP work to Telehealth in late 2022 with the aim of being able to deliver GP services to regions of Aotearoa that are struggling to recruit GPs. I am passionate about delivering equitable healthcare to all whānau in New Zealand, and I enjoy working with innovative practices such as Health Through the Marae to try to assist whānau on their individual journeys to achieving their optimal health.
