Profile

Originally from Kyiv in Ukraine, Irina has also lived in Slovakia and Czech Republic. Graduated from Charles University, Prague in 2007 and completed GP training in the UK in 2013. After completing her GP training Irina and her husband George moved to New Zealand where they spent three and a half years living and working. They returned to the UK to allow her husband to complete his Respiratory Specialist Training and start a family.

They had always considered the possibility of returning to New Zealand, and it didn’t take long before they were both committed to returning, although this time they are here to stay!

While Irina enjoys all aspects of General Practice, she is particularly interested in children’s health and general medicine. She loves hiking, skiing, exploring New Zealand and she is a busy mum of two wonderful children.
