Profile

Luke has a background in Emergency medicine, Haurora practice and general medicine. He couples this with an interest in minor surgery. Hailing from mother England, Luke and his wife Dee (also a GP) moved to Tauranga in 2008. Initially for a year they fell in "life" with the Bay lifestyle, have started a family and set up home in Omokoroa. Having served his GP registrar year with 5th Avenue Luke returned to become an associate in August 2013. Luke enjoys the relationship building that general practice offers and uses this with a focus on disease prevention. Outside of medicine Luke really does still play rugby, he loves to dive and ski as well as tend to his garden. In the summer you'll find the family near the water.
