Mark was, until Feb 2017, Mangakino Health's full time doctor. He now only works Wednesday to Friday.

He has over 27 years of full time General Practice experience. As well as General Practice he also provides minor surgical services. He is "PRIME" trained and assists at local road accidents. He has a close working relationship with the local St John Ambulance Service as well as the local Fire Brigade.

In addition, he is a senior rural clinical tutor for Auckland Medical School and through this system the practice gets to host final year Trainee interns (medical students) around four times a year.
