Profile

Dr Taatske, as she is commonly known, is originally from the Netherlands but completed her GP training in the UK. After living and working in different parts of the world for 13 years, she and her husband and children decided to settle in Dunedin.

Dr Taatske likes every aspect of general practice, from babies and their families through to older patients who often have multiple complex chronic illnesses. Her other interest is in the medical education of health care professionals and patients. She visit patients at Little Sisters of the Poor Elderly Care facility each week.
