IMPORTANT NOTICE
Travel swab results are taking longer than usual to return.
At present, we cannot guarantee test results in a timely fashion, and cannot assume responsibility for missed flights due to a delay in receiving swab results. To significantly improve your swab turnaround time, we strongly recommend that you drop off the swab directly to the Labtests in Mount Wellington.
If you need to have your swab done out of our listed hours, do contact us directly at and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Thank you for your understanding!
What are the steps?
-
This will be a naso-pharyngeal (nose) swab which will take approximately 5 minutes.
-
We will send your swab to the testing facility. You can also drop off the swab yourself to the testing facility in Mount Wellington to improve turnaround times.
-
We email the results and a fitness-to-fly certificate, or you can come back to the clinic to pick up a copy of the results.
* Labtests advice is to allow up to 72 hours for this process.
Please plan your swab accordingly.
* Countries can change their entry requirements abruptly within 24 hours. Please check the requirements carefully, especially the time frame to flight OR destination. Please understand that we cannot be held liable if your travel is disrupted due to a new change in regulations or if the swab timing falls outside of the required time frame.
Monday- Thursday swab clinics are available, from 8.30am to 3.30pm (please contact The Auckland City Doctors, (09) 280 3555, for Friday/Saturday/Sunday testing).
Pre-departure Covid-19 test certificate is $250 payable prior to the testing. Please contact us to making a booking.
