Covid-19 testing

GP practice - enrolled and casual patients

We provide Covid-19 testing safely for enrolled and casual patients (fees apply).

Testing is approx from 9am and 4pm weekdays by appointment.  Please call the practice to book on (09) 538 0083.

Testing for International Travel

This clinic provides pre-departure testing for people who are travelling.  Note this may not include under 13 years who may be required to go to a lab for testing.  Please call us on 09 538 0083 to book an appointment and note there is a fee for this service.

Assisted RATs for priority populations

Priority populations are groups that have experienced adverse impacts or are considered at higher risk of the effects from COVID-19 outbreaks in New Zealand. They include Māori and Pacific communities and those living with disabilities.

Description

Crawford Medical Centre is a GP practice located in the heart of Howick Village.  Our 14 doctors, nurse practitioner and nurse prescriber provide a full range of family health services, including minor surgery.  We have on-site parking and we will make emergency house calls.

Different charges apply for casual and non-enrolled patients and for other services.

A fee may be charged for appointments cancelled with less than 2 hours notice.

Our Saturday clinic is a walk-in clinic where no appointment is required. 

We are closed on the Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday on Christmas and New Year weekends.

Public Holidays: Closed ANZAC Day (25 Apr), King's Birthday (3 Jun), Matariki (28 Jun), Labour Day (28 Oct), Auckland Anniversary (27 Jan), Waitangi Day (6 Feb), Good Friday (18 Apr), Easter Sunday (20 Apr), Easter Monday (21 Apr).
