  • Make an appointment

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines

The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

PLEASE. Give us a call, 07 847 8425 to make your Covid Vaccination appointment

On Saturday 25/9/2021 We are doing a walk in clinic for COVID VACCINATION.

Covid-19 testing

GP practice - enrolled patients only

This practice provides COVID-19 testing to enrolled patients. Please call the practice for more information.

We are a general practice aiming to provide quality healthcare to you and your family. Consultations are by appointment only.

Our team is made up of GPs (see details below under ‘General Practitioners’) and:

Practice Manager: Agnes L

Nursing Staff: Deborah K

Receptionists: Eden B and Hannah J

Our Newest Team Member, Physician Associate: Bella Lui Caster, PA-C

Who is Bella?
Bella is a Physician Associate (PA-C) who has recently moved here with her family from California, USA. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Master's degree in Medical Science. She obtained her Physician Associate degree from Stanford University. She is nationally certified (the "C" in PA-C) through the NCCPA in the United States. Bella has been a Physician Associate for over 13 years. She has worked in family practice, geriatrics, gynaecologic oncology and most recently in spine surgery.

What is a Physician Associate?
Physician Associates (PAs) are highly trained healthcare professionals who are a part of the medical team. They are able to extend the care of Physicians and improve access to quality medical care. They work with a degree of autonomy but their scope of practice is defined by their relationship with their supervising Physician. PAs can obtain medical histories, perform examinations and procedures, diagnose illness, prescribe medications, order, and interpret tests, and refer patients to specialists as required.

Since PAs are in the early stages of registration in New Zealand, there will be a limitation to their scope of practice. All PAs providing medical care at Dinsdale Medical Centre are checked and signed off by a GP.
