Designated GP Practice

We are a designated COVID-19 testing practice. You do not need to be an enrolled patient to get a test. Please call the practice on 440 0295 for more information.

Testing for International Travel

This clinic provides pre-departure testing for people who are travelling, please call to book an appointment.

Please note there is a charge for this service. 

RATs - Community Collection Site - Anyone can access

Rapid antigen tests (RATs) can be collected at this site. Pre-ordering is not required.

Assisted RATs for priority populations

Priority populations are groups that have experienced adverse impacts or are considered at higher risk of the effects from COVID-19 outbreaks in New Zealand. They include Māori and Pacific communities and those living with disabilities.

Provides free face masks

This site offers free face masks when people are collecting RATs (subject to availability).

Description

We are proud to have been selected as one of the GP practices across NZ to embark on a three year Health Care Home project. Working with WellSouth and the District Health Board, we will be Alexandra’s first Health Care Home – offering more convenient care from an environment where quality of care and innovation can flourish.

Key Points:

  • Our clients can now book appointments from 8am to 6pm, including lunchtimes.
  • We provide high quality care, with a choice of GPs and nurses. If you have a preference, just ask when you make an appointment and we will do our best to match you with your chosen doctor or nurse, but if you’re in a hurry, we can fit you in at the next available time.
  • We offer plenty of off-street parking, with the added convenience of an onsite Pharmacy.
  • HealthCentral has an online patient portal which allows you to make appointments, request prescriptions and view your test results at any time.

After Hours: Please phone your normal GP practice and follow instructions. You will be transferred to a phone triaging service who will give you information on how to access our service after hours.
