We are a family-centred medical centre offering a full range of general practice services. We also have two on-site theatres which are used for a wide range of minor surgical procedures such as removal of skin cancers and other skin growths, IUCD and Jadelle insertions and removals.
Henderson Medical Centre also has the following on-site:
Pharmacy, Dentist, Podiatrist, Physiotherapy with a rehabilitation gym and a Chinese Medical Clinic, offering acupuncture and herbs.

PLEASE NOTE: A non-attendance or late cancellation fee will be incurred. This will apply to all age groups, and children will incur a fee of $10.00 for each missed appointment. If you fail to notify us at least 3 hours before your scheduled appointment. i.e. An adult charged the registered fee of $68 for a consultation will incur a missed or a late cancellation fee of $34.00.

Acute Walk-In Clinic (Registered patients only)
At Henderson Medical Centre our aim is to provide the best possible care to our patients by continually looking at ways to improve our service. Over the last year, we have seen an increase in demand for patients enrolling at our clinic and wait times for appointments. This is a trend across NZ. In order to address the above, we have decided to trial daily drop-in clinics for certain groups;
1. Children 13 years and under
2. New ACC / injuries and
3. Acutely unwell patients (eg. abdominal pain / sore throat, cough / UTI / urgent health problems that have developed within the last day or two.
Our daily drop-in clinics are available Mon - Friday within the hours of;

Additionally, whilst we intend to safely treat as many patients as possible,
there may be occasions where we have been unable to see everyone due to capacity.
After Hours:
Please phone the practice on 09 837 1110 to be transferred to our after-hours service. Then follow the instructions to get the help you need. If you or someone you are with is unwell and needs to speak to someone immediately, you will be directed to speak with an after-hours Nurse.

The last full day of the UnifyHealth booking platform being available will be Thursday 15th February. Unfortunately, from Friday the 16th of February Unify Health will no longer be available to provide subsidised virtual/in-person appointments via CareHQ.
