Maungakiekie Clinic
General Practice (GP) Service
Today
Description
Maungakiekie Clinic is a well established General Practice that has been has been here in Puriri Avenue for over 30 years. The clinic offers comprehensive medical care for enrolled patients and casual patients.
Dr Islam offers an additional Digital Dermoscopy Imaging Service for early diagnosis of skin cancers.
The clinic runs on an appointment system, but we will always ensure that anyone with an urgent problem will always be seen on the day and we will always fit children in as required.
We also offer online prescription requests, and patients are able to sign up in the clinic to be able to access their results and some medical information online through our Patient Portal.
1RM Physiotherapy is located within our clinic and is an ACC accredited provider. Scott Barnes and Jonathan Moyle, the physiotherapists, are available Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm.
Greenlane Pharmacy is conveniently located across the road.
While our clinic has wheelchair and disabled access, our toilet facilities are not wheelchair friendly due to the restraints of the building. Our closest disabled toilet is at the BP station on Great South Road or the public toilet facility on Greenlane Road. Both are approx 200 metres away. Our toilets are small and have handrails but sadly not large enough to accommodate a wheelchair.
We recommend CareHQ as our preferred GP service for patients, after-hours or when we are unavailable. CareHQ is available 7 days a week 7am - 7pm. Find out more.
Maungakiekie Clinic patients receive a $10.00 discount on CareHQ consultations. Simply enter the coupon code PRO-1 at the payment screen, to claim your discount. Coupon code: PRO-1.
