Covid-19 vaccination

COVID-19 Vaccination

  • Anyone currently eligible can access
  • Make an appointment

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines

The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

Covid-19 testing

GP practice - enrolled and casual patients

The practice provides Covid-19 testing to enrolled and casual patients.

Please call Reception to book an appointment. The test is free if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or if testing is required by Public Health.

We will need your full legal name, date of birth, home address and contact phone number. Please email these to reception@penroseclinic.co.nz

No walk-ins please.

Do not enter the Practice - call Reception upon arrival and our nurse will see you in your vehicle.

Testing for Travel

Please contact Reception to arrange pre-departure Covid tests. We recommend pre-departure Covid test/s to be done as early as possible within the stipulate timeframe (usually 72hrs prior to departure), to allow ample time for the Lab to process and report on the test.
