Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines
The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

We are a designated COVID-19 testing practice. You do not need to be an enrolled patient to get a test.

All Covid-19 testing is completed on the Southern side of the clinic, please proceed to the designated area and call the clinic to arrange testing, no appointment is required.
Description
The Doctors Middlemore is an integrated family health centre, offering both urgent care and GP services seven days a week. Our friendly reception staff will soon make you comfortable in our spacious waiting room and specialised nursing staff work with our doctors to provide a quality service and health promotion clinics. We are now endorsed against ACC Standards for Urgent Care clinics, and we are RNZCGP 'Cornerstone' quality approved as a general practice.
Pharmacy, as well as X-ray and physiotherapy, are now available onsite at our practice.
We are part of Procare PHO. This allows us to increase the range of services we can offer our enrolled patients and to reduce our fees for adult patients. Ministry of Health funding for healthcare in New Zealand comes via Primary Health Organisations (PHOs) to our clinic. Funded health services are available ONLY to enrolled patients. Please check with reception that we have your correct details and you are enrolled with our clinic.
