I saw the Russian doctor for a severe migraine and was only told, “You’re a Nurse, you should know what works”. I tried every regimen I know and meds I have but apparently did not workCome on! I will not waste my time and energy booking for a slot ang going to a doctor if I didn’t need one. I was just offered a medcert, some meds (one of which I already have at home that does not help) and went home frustrated, and dealt with the pain.
The latest encounter was with an Indian NP, only to be told to search youtube videos for an arm pain. This time I needed to pay for the visit, which did not even last for 5mins. I was given a medcert, which apologetically I lost. I called the next day to ask for a copy but the cert sent to my email got the dates wrong. I called again to have it rectified, but nil updated med cert received at the end of the day. I called today, waited on the queu for more than 20 mins and followed up - I was told to check my email as they sent one. This is the third time I am calling, the receptionist asked me to check my email then call again. I am very “pissed” already, as I waited for 20mins ony the line only to be told to call back.
I did not agree and said that the med cert I received were the wrong dates. I clarified what dates I needed, but I can only receive it by the end of the day! This is ridiculous! Come on, I called since yesterday, only to wait for another day and wait again. I needed the cert so I can submit it to my superior.
I also work in healthcare, and have been trying to understand but this is really unfair and poor service.
