Paramedic Associates is a boutique mobile health provider primarily servicing the Canterbury and Nelson/Tasman areas.
We provide in-home clinical services on behalf of general practices, primary health organisations (PHOs), private specialists and other health providers, enabling patients to receive timely care in their own environment.
We also accept self-referrals from people needing urgent in-home medical care. Our service is ideal for people who are unable to travel to a clinic, can't secure a timely GP appointment, or simply prefer to receive care in the comfort of their home. We also provide medical care to international visitors in the comfort of their hotel or private accommodation.
Our experienced team provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for a wide range of conditions, such as:
- Dehydration
- Diarrhoea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Migraines
- Infections
- Acute pain
- Wounds
- Minor injuries
Additionally, we provide a range of planned non-urgent services directly to patients. These include in-home administration of prescribed IV infusions and medications, ECGs, immunisations, NZTA DL9 driver licence medicals, blood tests, executive health checks, and more.
To ensure continuity of care, we work closely with and send electronic care summaries to the patient's usual health provider.
