Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit immunisation.northernregion.health.nz.

The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

For testing please call us. We will arrange a testing time. Do not walk into the clinic. We will do testing by appointment between 9 and 5.  The same day, No Queues

 

ALERT LEVEL 1

This practice provides COVID-19 testing to All patients free of charge (enrolled and urgent care / casual patients). In alert level 1, they can walk into the clinic with a mask. The receptionists will check you in and will ask you to wait in the car to be called by the doctor. Enrolled patients can also book an appointment through our website and by calling us.  Please call the practice for more information.

Urgent Care Clinic

This urgent care clinic provides Covid-19 testing for all patients free of charge. In alert level 1, they can walk into the clinic with a mask. The receptionists will check you in and will ask you to wait in the car to be called by the doctor. Testing for Travel

This clinic provides pre-departure testing for people who are travelling. The tests should be done 72hrs before the flight to allow delays in results. Please bring in the flight details and airline requirements. We do the COVID 19 Nasopharyngeal PCR and the COVID IgM blood test for travel to China. Please call to check the costs for the tests and book an appointment.

COVID TESTING is by appointment

If you suffer from any COVID19 symptoms (Cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, fever, loss of smell) or if you are working in the border or a quarantine facility or has been in contact with someone with COVID19, then please call us first. If it's only for a swab, you will be booked straight into the swabbing clinic. If you are sick and need to speak to a doctor, then you ll placed in the queue to be called back by the doctor. Please remember to wear a mask if you are coming in for testing, Please come alone. The consultation is free. For Travel swabs please book an appointment between 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays or prearranged on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Three Kings Accident & Medical is affiliated with the National Hauora Coalition Primary Healthcare Organisation.

It is a designated 'level two' clinic, accredited by the Accident Compensation Corporation, and approved for training in Accident and Medical Practice, a branch of medicine recognised by the Medical Council of New Zealand and administered by the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care.

We believe in Quality Care and our audits continue to meet the standards of Cornerstone (the highest level for GP practices) and also the Urgent Care standard. One of only half a dozen facilities to meet both these audits.
