Jess graduated from Medical School at the University of Sheffield, UK. In 2011 she moved to New Zealand with her family.
She started her Medical Oncology training in Tauranga Hospital and completed this in Wellington Hospital. Her post graduate training includes a research fellowship in Melanoma and a fellowship in Phase 1 oncology research at The Christie Hospital NHS Trust, Manchester UK. She returned to New Zealand to work as a Medical Oncologist in Timaru Hospital in 2020.
