Dr Stephan Bontekoe

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Stephan Bontekoe, I am a general practitioner coming from the Netherlands. Arrived here in this beautiful region in December 2023 together with my wife (who also works here as a GP) and our daughter. I have been working at Greenwood Health as a locum GP for seven months now and I feel very honoured to be taking over from Julie Brady and Sebastiaan Klaver, although it is very sad to see them leave.

Before working here in Motueka I worked as a GP in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Prior to that my wife and I worked together as doctors in a rural district hospital in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
