Murihiku Medical Services is a community-focused general practice located in the heart of Invercargill, Southland.
We are dedicated to delivering high quality, holistic primary health care to individual and whānau across all stages of life. Our service includes general medical consultations, long term condition management, immunisation, cervical and sexual health screening, ACC care, mental health support, community support and urgent same-day appointments.
We operate under the kaupapa of manaakitanga and ensure that our care is accessible to all.
Our multidisciplinary team includes GPs, Nurse, Health Care assistants, Health Coach, Health Improvement Practitioner, Receptionists and management kaimahi who work collaboratively to support both clinical needs and the broader wellbeing of our community.
Travel Clinic:
Our Travel clinic is here to keep you safe and healthy when travelling. We are one of the only clinics in Southland offering this high quality service. Our doctor is experienced, professional and specialised in Travel Medicine. We provide personalised and extensive care to all travel consult patients. This is open to enrolled and non-enrolled patients.

After hours: We partner with Practice Plus to provide same day virtual GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical centre team. Practice Plus is available weekdays until 10pm and weekends/public holidays 8am-8pm.
