Dr Gareth Blackshaw

MB ChB 1988 Otago; M 1998 F 1998 RNZCGP

Gareth trained in Wellington and has worked overseas before moving to the Bay of Plenty in 1997 with his wife Jane and 3 daughters. Special interest areas include family medicine, care of the elderly, skin conditions and surgery.Gareth has been involved in medical education, training registrars and colleagues, and helped establish the BOP Clinical School. 

He has completed many multisport events, enjoys most outdoor activities, and spends his remaining time on the orchard and carrying musical equipment around for his daughters gigs.
