Description

THMCT is an approved ACC Vendor for Rongoā Māori Healing throughout Northland. This rehabilitation programme is designed to restore your independence and ability to participate in everyday life following a brain injury, sensitive claim or any other injury.

Kai Mahi - Our Rongoā Māori specialists deliver care grounded in tikanga Māori, karakia, and the guiding values of whānau, wairua, and connection to whenua.

Kotahi - Unity in the Community
Guided by tikanga Māori, Te Houtaewa Māori Charitable Trust – Whare Rongoā is dedicated to Hauora, Mātauranga, and Tāpoi, ensuring culturally grounded healing and education for whānau and communities across Te Tai Tokerau and beyond.

Pou o te Kaupapa - Our Three Pillars
Hauora – Health is our Wealth
Mātauranga – Knowledge that Inspires, Learning that Empowers
Tāpoi – Experience the Journey, Embrace the Legacy

These pou guide everything we do — healing, learning, and connecting communities across Te Tai Tokerau and beyond.

Te Whatu Ora - We are a recognised Te Whatu Ora service provider, ensuring Rongoā Māori sits alongside hospital and community health services as part of Aotearoa’s public health delivery.
