Ember Korowai Takitini provides community-based mental health, addiction, peer support, wellbeing and employment support services across the upper North Island, from Northland to Rotorua.
We support people to live well in the community, build independence, connect with others, and work towards their recovery, wellbeing and employment goals. Our services include peer support, recovery education, wellbeing groups, community support, navigation support and employment support for people with lived experience and people who have been long-term unemployed.
Some of our programmes accept self-referrals, while others require referrals from NASC, hospitals, GPs or other health and social service providers.
We work alongside people and their whānau and collaborate with other services to ensure people receive the support that best meets their needs. If you are unsure which service is right for you, you are welcome to contact us and we can help guide you to the most appropriate support.
