Dr Montserrat Figols Parramon

Licenciado en Medicina y Cirugia 2011 Rovira I Virgili; Specialist (Fam & Comm Med) 2016 Spain

Dr Muntsa Figols is from Barcelona (Spain). She obtained her medical degree from Rovira i Virgili University in 2011 and then spent four years training as a family and community doctor in her native country. During her training she cooperated with a local organisation from Kolkata (India) providing medical assistance to the communities in the rural areas of West Bengal in 2012. She also worked with Guarani communities in Misiones Province (Argentina) providing on-site medical services in 2016. 

She came to New Zealand with her family in 2017 to join The Doctors New Lynn. 

Dr.\ Figols has special interest in paediatric medicine, women's health, nutrition and lifestyle, preventive medicine, mental health and aged care. She speaks three languages: English, Spanish and Catalan.
