The Department of Otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) treats adult and paediatric patients in the areas of general otolaryngology, neurotology, facial neuropathy, rhinology, facial plastic surgery, vocal health, speech pathology and audiology. The Department provides the most up-to-date methods of diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating patients with diseases of the head and neck.

If you have an urgent problem requiring immediate assessment, you will be referred to Dunedin Hospital.
Outpatient clinics are delivered at Dunedin, Southland and Ōamaru hospitals.
