We were the first practice to start in the Hobsonville area and have been here for almost 30 years. Our doctors are very experienced, both having practised as GPs for 30 years or more.
Our focus is preventative healthcare and personalised healthcare. That is why Dr Susan Clark and Dr Peter Moore work 5 full days per week - we want to see our own patients and get to know them well.
Every time you come you will see your own doctor, giving good continuity of care and you will not need to reiterate your history or ongoing health issues to a different doctor each time. We aim to give you a same day appointment and to facilitate this we work a late night every Monday night.
For pregnancy care Dr Clark provides free pregnancy care but Dr Moore has legally opted out of publicly funded pregnancy care and charges for pregnancy care.
For termination of pregnancy Family Planning provides free care and Epsom Day Unit provides free care. A doctor's referral is not required, you can either attend this clinic at Greenlane Hospital or ring them for an appointment -phone 09 631 0740.
Dr Susan Clark has postgraduate qualifications in obstetrics and maternity care and has special expertise in the care of women and children's health issues.
Dr Moore has a special interest in men's health including prostate cancer and health problems of the elderly. Having been a paediatric medical registrar at the Auckland Children's Hospital he retains a keen interest in paediatrics including the difficult fields of autism and gastrointestinal problems of children.
Facilities
0ur practice has excellent access off Hobsonville Road and off Wisely Road and we have a very large carpark.
Onsite there are various paramedical services including chiropractic.
We purpose-built our surgery with ground floor access for ease of access for our patients and we have a wheelchair for those who have difficulty walking. Our waiting room is large so our patients are not crowded together and it has restful views out onto our gardens. Special chairs have been provided for the disabled.
We have 3 consultation rooms including our nurses' consultation room, an operating theatre, an emergency room with a defibrillator, an eye examination room with a slit lamp microscope and a quiet room for breastfeeding mothers.
