East Otago Health provides 24 hour, 7 days per week, Medical Care to the East Otago Community. Our main clinic is located in Palmerston, East Otago, with a satellite clinic in Waikouaiti, located 14km to the south.
We have a dedicated team of Clinical Staff, PRIME Responders, and Administration/Reception Staff.
East Otago Health is a Rural General Practice, and also holds the PRIME response contract for the region.

We provide urgent and emergency care outside of clinic opening hours.
To speak to the on-call Clinician phone 03 465 1444, your call will be directed automatically to their mobile.

After hours: We partner with Ka Ora Telecare to provide same day virtual GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical centre team.
Ka Ora Telecare is available weekdays from 5pm to 8.30am and 24/7 weekends/public holidays.
