Dr George Hales

I relocated to Aotearoa New Zealand from the UK, where I attended medical school and undertook my postgraduate training. My family are originally from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. My areas of medical interest are general sexual health (including contraception and women’s health), health improvement, digital health, asthma and LGBTQ+ health (including Gender Affirming Healthcare). I hold a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I am a PrEP and PEP prescriber and offer contraceptive implant (Jadelle) appointments. I will be undertaking fellowship training in general practice from January 2025. I continue to work in the Urgent Care sector.
