Dr Anna Bashford (Gynaecologist)

MB ChB 1994 Otago; FRANZCOG 2007

Anna trained in medicine at Otago University, started her specialist training at the Royal Free Hospital in London and completed it in Auckland. After graduating as a fellow of the RANZCOG she worked for 10 years as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at National Women’s Hospital (NWH) with a special interest in adolescent gynaecology and laparoscopic surgery. Over this time she also completed a fellowship in fertility and laparoscopic surgery in Queensland.  

Anna joined Fertility Associates (FA) in 2014 and underwent further training, completing a Masters of Reproductive Medicine (MRMed) from University of NSW in 2016. She continues to provide fertility consultation from FA but moved her gynaecology practice to AGA in 2023.
