Born in New Zealand, I trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton before moving to Australia for further training in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology (women's health issues specific to young girls and teenagers) at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. I have been working as an obstetrics and gynaecology (including paediatric and adolescent gynaecology) specialist in Victoria, Australia since 2011.

I am competent in all aspects of general gynaecology including colposcopy (management of abnormal cervical smears), with a special interest in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology.
